I am currently a full-time local working actor in the Washington, DC metro area. While working in a very demanding and successful government career there was always an emptiness. Short of a long story, I visited an accredited acting conservatory in the DC metro area and realized that is where I belonged. I enrolled and completed their 2 year training program as well as the 3rd year reparatory program. I went to work everyday where I held a high level position and high quality performance was required, meetings with high level officials, meetings on capital hill, while pursuing my dream of acting. I was so focused on fulfilling my dream, very often I would stay up until 2a.m. or longer during the week doing theatre work. I was encouraged by one of the actors at the To Darn Hot Party who said he almost gave up his dream of acting because it is so hard getting more no answers than yes at auditions and then he was cast in one of the shows. Those words touched my spirit along with what Mr. Perry said about some of those actors being the least likely to be cast in other roles, but look where they are today. I am trusting that God will open the door for me to move to the next level of living my dream and I would love to be part of the next Tyler Perry production.
I am a Afro American female. I worked on Friday Night Lights as a extra. I have 10 grand-children. I was blessed with five children, three sons, and two daughters. In 2009 I lost my youngest son in tragic car accident. I had a stormy child-hood. I am the third oldest out of eight children. My mother suffered a mental breakdown due to my father being unfaithful throughout their marriage. I was placed in foster care with my two older siblings and my younger sister. My father continue to have more children with my mother and one by one they were place in foster care too.
My oldest brother died in 2011 of cancer, my second older brother was shot during a robbery in 1973 and died 5 days later. My first youngest brother was shot and killed in 1986, and my youngest brother died in 1996 of cancer. My youngest sister has been missing since 1994 by choice. Three of us are still standing and trusting in the Lord.
I know I have a purpose, and I am tired of existing. It's time for me to live. I am blessed and highly favored. I am 64 years young, and I would love to audition for your movie. I think I would be great for the movie because of my newly found determination not to let my past or negative thinking about my self and my charter dictate my future. I do have a facial scar on the left side of my face ( mom said she had to scrub gum off my face when I was little) I have let it , my weight and the criticism from others about the the so call ghetto keep me from persuing my dreams. I would always set up a stage so we could sing , act, etc… I have been talked about many time for believing in the supernatural things of this world that god has for his children to do and see. Now, I say NO MORE limiting myself due to what I look like or where I came from.. I'm on a mission not asking for anything but a chance to learn to be a great actor , singer , etc. and also an excellent example for my son Patrick and grand son Braylon. Early Life
Actor/Comdian/Rapper Unmask( Lil Bernie Mac) was Born Jeremy Lantwon Smith on November 2, 1986, In Shreveport, Louisiana. He is the second oldest of Four Children and was raise by his hard working mom Pauline Woods who went to church and raise her boys to know the values of life.
Jeremy got his first shot at entertainment while attending vacation bible school when was ask to rap for the youth .
From there Jeremy joined a rap group did many local talent shows in the surrounding areas; In 2001 He found comedy was something he wanted to do after watched Bernie Mac standup tapes and movies he often did Bernie Mac impressions for family and friends.
Comedic Debut
Jeremy got his big break at comedy in 2010 when met King of Comedy D.L Hughley in a local comedy club in his home town, that was the night he earned the name lil Bernie Mac; He went on to open for Katt Williams, T.D Jakes and work with Bernie Mac in the movie (Soulmen).
Unmask has been featured in a lot of comedy show’s which include the Shaq’s all-star comedy competition in Houston Texas; he’s also been featured on websites like Topcat live as well as The Consult Medly Business Report Radio show
