Are people always telling you that your child should be a model or actor? Does your son or daughter dream of being on TV? A new NBC TV show casting call is looking for kids! The network is adding the new series “Rise” to their lineup. It is from the writer and executive producer of “Friday Night Lights” and “Parenthood” along with the producer of the hit Broadway play “Hamilton”. Casting directors are looking for kids who are 7 to 8 years old. Children must be local to New York City where the show is filming. Boys and girls are needed to shoot on Wednesday, October 4th.
According to NBC, “Rise” is a heartening new drama about finding inspiration in unexpected places. When dedicated teacher and family man Lou Mazzuchelli (Josh Radnor, “How I Met Your Mother”) sheds his own self-doubt and takes over the school’s lackluster theater department, he galvanizes not only the faculty and students, but the entire working-class town. The series is inspired by a true story.
In order to be considered, all kids who apply must have a valid New York child work permit. If this sounds like something you would like to be considered for, sign up for the kid’s casting call right away!
