Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way from play Harry Potter. The actor has been choosing gritty roles that are a stark contrast from the young wizard in training that launched him into worldwide stardom. His new venture “Beasts of Burden” is now casting Hispanic men and women for background extra roles. Radcliffe is teaming up with Laurence Fishburne for the new movie.
“Beasts of Burden” centers on a pilot (Daniel Radcliffe) running drugs across the border who must navigate the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Cartel and others over the course of a day. Laurence Fishburne will play a cartel handler, assigned to guide Radcliffe’s character through the drug run. Grace Gummer plays Radcliffe’s character’s wife who must work with him to escape the threat of the cartel”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Models and actors that are now being cast will be portraying Mexican factory workers in a warehouse. The exact shoot dates are still being determined but filming will be the week of December 12th. Savannah, Georgia is the where the feature film is shooting.
